BFS Insights - Spring 2014

Just as we all started getting comfortable with investment markets running along nicely, along comes a little volatility to remind investors that markets don't keep rising without the occassional hiccup.  With the Australian share market now having given up most of its gains from earlier this year, the positive is that shares are no longer considered to be as expensive as they were only a few weeks ago.  Of course, those holding unhedged global equities continue to benefit from the falling Australian dollar, which is one of the great benefits of holding a diversified portfolio.

In the next couple of weeks we will be sending out invitations for this years client function, which will be held on Monday evening 8 December at the Royal South Yarra Tennis Club.  Unfortunately Tim Costello became unavailable for our original November date, thus the reason for our chanage of date and venue.

Please find attached to this quarters newsletter a selection of articles which we trust you will enjoy reading.  Of course, feel free to forward this newsletter to any friends or family you think might be interested in reading any of the attached articles.
